The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Sri Sivani College of Engineering was recognized in the year 2006.At there department is offering UG Program (B.Tech) with an intake of 120. The section has well equipped laboratories, like recreation lab with advanced softwares. far above the ground school principles are maintain by following Outcome base Education System with the assist of skilled, qualified and devoted faculty member with different specializations.
Nanotechnology is a primary and enabling expertise . Nano means little (10^(-9)m) but of high potency, and emerging with large application sharp through all the discipline of knowledge, most important to engineering and technological increase. Nanotechnology is by now have its impact on products as assorted as story foods, medical devices, chemical coatings, private health testing kits, sensors for defense systems, water sanitization units for man space craft, display used for hand-held computer games and high-resolution cinema screens. Nanotechnology is probable on the way to have an nearly every industry. The US general Science underpinning has predicted to the total souk for Nanotechnologies spirit reach $1 trillion or more with in 20 years.
